Actor Dustin Hoffman Accused Of Repeatedly Molesting Actress

New York:  Dustin Hoffman was detained Friday of molesting an actress who worked together from the 1980s, the second allegation to aim the most acting legend and the hottest in a snowballing collection of similar claims against powerful men.

Kathryn Rossetter, who performed together with the Oscar-winning celebrity in a 1983 to 1985 Broadway production of “Death of a Salesman,” forced the allegation in a guest column for The Hollywood Reporter.

Later Hoffman helped her capture her early on Broadway, the job all had begun Rossetter wrote.

She was even introduced by him to his wife, she explained.

But things rapidly turned to “a dreadful, demoralizing and violent experience in the hands (literally) of a few of my acting idols.”

Once during a performance in Chicago, “I believed his hands up under my slide onto the inside of my thighs,” the start of abuse which happened “almost every show,” she explained.

“He kept it up and got more and more competitive,” said the actress, who said Hoffman attempted to penetrate her on one occasion.

“Night after night I went home and cried.”

“How could the identical man who fought to get me the task, who awakened my work, who essentially launched my profession, who gave me the advantage of his wisdom as a performer, how could he also be this sensual power abuser?” Rossetter wrote.

“Was I doing something? Was it my fault?”

She said he would call her, and alleged groping that was other by the celebrity.

“Dustin would whisper, ‘greater, greater,’ trying to get me to move up his trousers legs genitals. I didn’t do it”

Rossetter explained although she believed reporting Hoffman to the actors’ marriage but had been dissuaded by others who said she would lose her job and her hopes of a profession.

The celebrity later performed from the 1985 TV movie version of “Death of a Salesman,” which also starred Hoffman.

A former intern on such group, Anna Graham Hunteraccused Hoffman in The Hollywood Reporter of placing his hands when she was 17, and making remarks.

The 80-year-old Hoffman, whose numerous movie credits include “Tootsie,” “Kramer vs. Kramer,” “Rain Man” and “All the President’s Men,” said he did not remember that incident from over 30 years ago.

He added he did not believe he had done injury, which his conversations on the group were typical of these members of a “family”
