There was A still photographer detained here for and raping an aspiring performer on the pretext of getting her an integral part in a picture, police said.
Jinson Lonappan was detained according to a complaint by the girl he had mistreated her and had also taken for ensuring a function in the film Rs 33 lakh, they added.
Lonappan, who has functioned as an assistant was charged under IPC sections related criminal breach of trust and cheating, to rape.
The incident occurred in March after realising she was being cheated with 21, and also the woman approached the police yesterday.
