Promotions: Fraser Brown Solicitors

Nottingham-based Fraser Brown Solicitors has announced the promotion of four of its lawyers.

Joanne Soar, Chris Chan, Peter Abel and Liam Wilkinson are promoted to partners.

Joanne Soar, associate from the licensing group, joined Fraser Brown in 2005 and has over 26 decades of expertise in the industry. Joanne, who’s a member of the Institute of Licensing, is a specialist in alcohol and entertainment licensing law.

Chris Chan, partner and commercial recoveries manager from the dispute resolution group, joined the company three decades back and is now a well-respected dispute resolution solicitor in the region. He handles everything from commercial and residential property litigation issues to professional negligence and general commercial litigation work.

Peter Abel, partner in the corporate group, joined Fraser Brown in 2014 as a recently qualified solicitor. He succeeds in business and share acquisitions and disposals, acquisition and banking fund, reorganisations and business restructures and venture matters.

Liam Wilkinson, partner in the commercial property group, joined the company in 2012 as an aide and became fully qualified in 2014. Liam deals with landlord and tenant work and the selling and purchase of commercial property.
