We’ve got many pro bono opportunities that involve just a couple of hours of the time but might make a difference in someone’s life. For example, would you find time to get a restricted representation foreclosure situation, or a simple no assets, no children custody? Most of our insolvency and probate cases are rather straightforward and uncomplicated, and we have many clients needing a standard will. For people who have a company practice, we often have clients attempting to set up a 501(c)(3). We offer applications for corporate, government and litigation attorneys. Veterans Affairs — Medical/Legal Clinics —
Come personnel that the VA affiliated clinic in the Miami VA on Wednesdays from 9 am — noon. This weekly practice will be spearheaded by VA professionals together with pro bono attorneys. After each practice, PSB identifies cases to private attorneys and 100% Law Firms to handle. Firms may “embrace a practice.”

Come staff important FREE Information Sessions in partnership with Miami-Dade Housing Authority designed to aid elderly homeowners that want to learn about estate planning and have questions concerning taxation, wills, insurance and reverse mortgages.
DCBA sponsored 1(800) telephone in program on the first Wednesday every month hosted by 100% Law Firms along with Voluntary Bar Associations. Chaired Morgan Lewis, by Josh Prever. Arrive at 6 pm for supper and directions and intend to stay till 8 pm. Field telephone calls all topics and also make referrals alongside colleagues and friends.
Bi-monthly practices co-sponsored by Legal Services of Greater Miami PSB & DCBA YLS where pre-screened clients come in 5 8 pm searching answers to their own questions about how exactly to proceed pro se. One on one consults supplied and no additional representation required.
Bankruptcy attorneys from the BBA personnel this free yearly pro se clinic sponsored by American College of Bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courthouse in Downtown Miami in 12-2pm and in other times/locations through the Southern District of Florida. Pro se debtors first watch a 45 second video accompanied by a ? & A Demo designed to assist pro se individuals.
In combination with AIJ, CABA & DCBA Immigration Law Committee, pro bono attorneys run community outreach or may appear as a pal of Court in Immigration proceedings on behalf of unaccompanied minors. Volunteers receive a summary, mentor and extensive materials to steer you through this process.
Artists, Non Profit & Venture Law Clinics—
Mix, mingle and meet with colleagues in these practices sponsored by the Arts Business Council, USPTO, Venture Law Project and Florida Bar Business Law Section. Assist fighting artists, emerging arts groups, creative collaborations and begin ups at Rs workshops on varied topics such as Taxation, Employment, Formation and by Legislation. Clinics made to assist people needing free small business tune ups without means to hire counsel.
