India ‘A’ cricket group called for practice match against Bangladesh

The inaugural game will be followed with the national team’s one-off Test against Bangladesh in February 9-13 at Hyderabad.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday declared the 14-member India ‘A’ squad for its two-day exercise match to be played from Bangladesh in Gymkhana Ground at Secunderabad on February 5-6.

The game will be followed with the team’s one-off Test against Bangladesh in February 9-13 in the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

The opening batsman Abhinav Mukund of Tamil Nadu was named as the captain of the India ‘A’ squad.

The squad is a bonus to players, who played well in the Irani Cup and the Ranji Trophy.

The group: Abhinav Mukund (Captain), Priyank Kirit Panchal, Shreyas Iyer, Ishank Jaggi, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Vijay Shankar, Hardik Pandya, Shahbaz Nadeem, Jayant Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Aniket Choudhary, C.V. Milind, Nitin Saini.
