A lawyer in the Oklahoma sheriff’s office states Gov. Mary Fallin may deal with a lawsuit over the constitutionality of some brand new drunken driving legislation in court. Williamson claims that the executive order explains the Senate expects the section to adhere to the Oklahoma Supreme Court’s conclusions on due-process protections for drivers’ licenses. The suit filed Monday from Gov. Mary Fallin, state lawmakers, the nation’s public safety commissioner and two prosecutors asks that the state Supreme Court to take the case.
